The above video is a 25-minute demonstration of our new SGS-GMS-FDS application. As you will see, SGS-GMS-FDS is a full featured, professional, high quality user interface for NIST's Fire Dynamics Simulator. In addition to reading, editing, writing and executing .fds project files, SGS-GMS-FDS reads and displays .smv files, providing a robust alternative to using SmokeView. After watching this video, we think you will agree that SGS-GMS-FDS provides a unique and powerful approach for developing, executing, analyzing and documenting FDS projects.

These advisors/users must be experienced FDS modelers who are interested in developing a new approach to FDS project development, analysis and documentation by suggesting and providing test projec
SimGrid Solutions is now looking to organize a group of SGS-GMS-FDS alpha-test advisors who will subsequently become beta-release first-users. These advisors/users must be experienced FDS modelers who are interested in developing a new approach to FDS project development, analysis and documentation by suggesting and providing test projects to verify, validate, improve and further develop SGS-GMS-FDS. They must be willing to help SimGrid Solutions identify and prioritize the development of any remaining functionality necessary to reach the first release of SGS-GMS-FDS.
Upon beta-release, SimGrid Solutions will also need one or more product champions to form a consulting partnership (e.g. SimGrid Services) to provide contract sales, services and support for the global utilization and distribution of SGS-GMS-FDS.

Subsequent to the first release of SGS-GMS-FDS, SimGrid Solutions is hoping to partner with a group of fire modeling experts to provide consulting solutions, modeling services and software sales/support. The software development and maintenance of SGS-GMS-FDS will probably remain within SimGrid Solutions, though it would be possible for SimGrid Solutions to license the core SGS-GMS library to an expert third party who would control the application-specific code that sits on top of SGS-GMS.
SimGrid Solutions' ultimate objective is to use our GMS core library to improve or replace the user interfaces of a variety of numerical models (e.g. explosion, dispersion, energy, etc.)
